How Do You Apply?
You can apply for this service online through https://rakdigital.rak.ae by using your UAE Pass and selecting “Renew Building Permit” to begin your application.
Fill in the application form through the consultancy office and upload all required documents.
Once the Municipality reviews and verifies your application, we will notify you.
Pay the final fees through one of the following methods: the website, the mRAK Smart App, or payment machines at Customer Happiness Centres.
Once we verify the application, we will issue the renewed building permit electronically.
How Much Will You Pay?
10% of the total value of the fees paid for the previous permit.
What Documents Do You Need?
Site plan : Including the affection plan and title deed (if any).
NOC for Site Service Clearance Certificate : No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Site Service Clearance Certificate – from Etihad Water & Electricity, Etisalat, Public Works and Services Department (Wastewater Agency) and RAK Gas.
Planning requirements from the Planning and Survey Department (for commercial and residential-commercial plots).
Official Letter : Assignment letter from the owner to the consultant.
A valid copy of owner’s ID.

You may apply for renewal after 6 months have passed since the original permit was issued, as long as no work has started on site.
You may renew the permit up to 1 month after the original expiry date.
Update and submit all permit documents from the previous application.
Limitations
The renewed permit is valid for 1 year from the date of renewal.
