Service Summary

This service allows the customer to request the approval of the municipality to add land area to his plot after studying it technically and planning, and the possibility of implementing it and linking it with the parent plot and the general plan, in accordance with the planning determinants and standards, including: existing buildings, service lines, roads and levels, water canals, protection and mountain boundaries.

This service is available for all types of Parcels except agricultural Parcels, and it is required to obtain administrative guidance from the managers of the Customer Happiness Center in Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.

How do I apply

  1. Go to the Customer Happiness Center at Ras Al Khaimah Municipality to submit the application

  2. Submit documents to the employee at the Customer Happiness Center.

  3. Pay the due fees through the website, mRAK smart application or ATMs available at the Customer Happiness Centers in Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.

  4. Wait until the competent department reviews the application and makes a decision to complete or reject it based on technical criteria and directives. Additional information, necessary studies or undertakings can be requested within 15 days, where the customer will be notified via email and text messages. The status of the order can also be tracked through the website, the mRAK smart app, or at the Customer Happiness Center.

  5. Receive the approved scheme through the registered email or download it from the website.

What are the applicable terms and restrictions?

  • The site is unserviceable.

  • The plot is not affected by properties or areas that are endowned or subject to planning studies.

  • There are no differences in the level or they are not affected by the hydrological or geotechnical aspects.

  • Do not close the tracks and walkways around the Parcels intended for emergency and public safety.

  • The addition to agricultural Parcels is currently suspended.

  • To apply for this service, it is required to obtain management guidance from the managers of the Customer Happiness Department in Ras Al Khaimah Municipality
