How does the Manzily service work?
Residents of Ras Al Khaimah can easily sign up online for the “Manzily Energy Advice Service”. After registration, experts from the Municipality will conduct a thorough in-person assessment of their homes. This personalised assessment will give residents a custom report highlighting specific opportunities to save electricity effectively.
Who can apply to the Manzily service ?
The service is available to all residents of Ras Al Khaimah.
Is the Manzily service completely free of charge?
Yes. The service is currently provided free of charge by Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.
Do I need any technical knowledge to participate?
No. Our team will guide you through the process in simple terms and provide clear recommendations.
How long does the visit take?
Typically between 30–60 minutes, depending on the size of your home and the systems installed.
How is the assessment carried out?
You can choose between a short home visit, a video call, or a phone call with our energy engineers.
What kind of recommendations will I receive in the report?
You will receive practical suggestions to improve your energy and water efficiency, reduce your bills, and enhance indoor comfort using smart technologies and controls. The report will also include a list of suppliers and service providers in Ras Al Khaimah that you can contact for further assistance.
Will the municipality provide or install the recommended solutions?
No. The municipality provides the assessment and recommendations. However, the report will include links to qualified service providers in Ras Al Khaimah that you may contact for implementation.
How do I register?

What time is the team available to audit my home during the day?
Home visits are usually scheduled during regular working hours (8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with the last appointment starting at 2:00 pm, and 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, Friday, with the last appointment starting at 11:00 am).
Is Manzily Energy Advice Service provided to other emirates in the UAE?
Currently, the service is only available for residents of Ras Al Khaimah.
Are there any incentives provided for participating in Manzily?
Yes, incentives are provided by EtihadWE and are calculated for eligible citizens based on points added to the customer's account, displayed in the monthly bill, in exchange for reduced electricity consumption compared to the baseline year (1 AED will be discounted from the electricity bill for every 1 AED saved).
What are the incentive eligibility conditions?
Enrolment to the Manzily Service is open to all EtihadWE customers who are UAE citizens residing in Ras Al Khaimah, subject to the following conditions:
The account must fall under the “Citizen Residential” consumption category (for a single household).
The account must have a 12-month consecutive history of consumption bills with no tariff changes, cancelled or reversed bills, or meter replacement during that period.
The account must not be eligible for inflation allowance.
Availability of “Energy Assessment Report” approved by Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.
Are the incentives from Manzily available for all residents of Ras Al Khaimah?
No. The incentives are currently only available for eligible Emirati residents of Ras Al Khaimah, as per the programme’s terms and conditions.
Is the Manzily home energy assessment available for both homeowners and tenants?
Yes. The service is available to all residents, whether you are an owner or a tenant.
Will I receive a detailed technical report?
The report is designed to be easy to understand, focusing on practical tips for improving energy and water efficiency. It does not include complex technical terms, so you can implement the recommendations without any technical background.
How soon after signing up will I receive my consultation?
You will be contacted shortly after registration to schedule your home energy assessment, usually within a few business days, depending on the availability of our team.
Can I get before-and-after comparisons of my energy use?
The service focuses on practical recommendations rather than detailed energy tracking, so before-and-after comparisons are not provided.
Does Manzily provide a score or rating for my home?
The report does not include a formal score or rating, but it does include a comparison of your consumption compared to other homes of a similar size in your region. It also highlights actionable improvements to enhance comfort, energy efficiency, and water savings.
If I am a tenant, can I share my report with my landlord?
Yes, you may share it the report your landlord or family members as needed.
Can I get advice on using smart home technologies to save energy?
Yes. Our team will provide practical recommendations on smart technologies and controls that can help reduce your energy and water consumption while improving comfort.
Will the assessment help improve indoor air quality?
Yes. In addition to energy and water efficiency, the assessment includes tips to enhance indoor air quality, helping create a healthier and more comfortable living environment.
