Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) are fixed reference stations that use Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). They are installed at precisely determined locations and operate continuously, 24 hours a day, throughout the year
These stations provide an accurate spatial reference and are used to correct and improve the accuracy of measurements obtained through GPS/GNSS receivers. This enables highly accurate coordinates to support surveying, engineering, and various projects across the Emirate.
