How Do You Apply?

  1. You can apply for this service online through https://rakdigital.rak.ae or by visiting one of our Customer Happiness Centres.

  2. Log in using your UAE Pass or proceed to the service counter and select “Planning Regulations and Building Codes.”

  3. Complete the application form and attach or submit all required documents.

  4. Pay the transaction fees through one of the following methods: the website, the mRAK Smart App, or the Automated Payment Machines at the Customer Happiness Centres.

  5. The relevant department will review your application based on technical criteria and guidelines.

  6. We will notify you by email or SMS within 15 days of submission if additional documents, research, or undertakings are required.

  7. You can also monitor the status via the website, the mRAK Smart App, or by visiting a Customer Happiness Centre.

  8. Once we approve your application, pay the final fees using one of the above methods.

  9. Then, hand over the old document, and collect the new approved plan.

What Terms and Limitations Apply?

Terms :

  • We do not issue planning regulations for plots in suspended areas unless an exemption is granted.

  • All affection plans must comply with Ras Al Khaimah Municipality’s regulations.

  • Renew building regulations within one year of their issuance or expiry.

  • Regulations are based on local area needs and require approval by the relevant committee.

  • Before applying for building regulations, the plot owner must request to divide the plot if it has multiple uses. If the proposed project matches the allowed use, we will send it to the Planning Requirements Committee for approval.

  • Adjust or relocate plots that conflict with the master plan, in accordance with the grant order.
