This service allows to renew your tenancy contracts for lands and properties across Ras Al Khaimah—whether residential, commercial, or investment-based. This service ensures continuity of lease agreements in a way that's both efficient and seamless.

How Do You Apply?

  1. You can apply for this service online through https://rakdigital.rak.ae by using your UAE Pass and select “Renew Tenancy Contract” to begin your application.

  2. Fill in the application form and required information

  3. lease contract must be signed by the lessor and lessee, either electronically using UAE PASS or manually by printing the contract and uploading it after signing it.

  4. Upload all the required documents

  5. Pay the fees through one of the following methods: the website, the mRAK Smart App, or payment machines at Customer Happiness Centers.

  6. Once verified, the certified lease will be issued electronically + EWE move in request for residential contracts.

How Much Will You Pay?

  • Application fee:

    • Residential contracts: AED 50

    • Commercial and investment contracts: AED 100

    Accreditation fee:

  • Residential: 5% of annual rent (min. AED 200) which will be included in the monthly bill issued by EWE.

  • Commercial/Investment: 5% of annual rent (min. AED 500)


What Documents Do You Need?

  1. Emirates ID: A valid copy of the Emirates IDs of Owner and Tenant

  2. Trade License: If the contract is commercial or a party is a company

  3. Approval of other Government: For commercial contracts or first-time license

  4. Power of Attorney: If a trustworthy individual is given authorization or owner is deceased.  

  5. Premise ID


What Terms and Limitations Apply?

Terms :

  • Register the applicant on UAE PASS.

  • A valid Emirates ID or passport is required for the tenant.

  • The landlord must either own the property or hold official power of attorney.

  • Both parties must sign the contract.

  • Commitment to all terms outlined in the approved contract copy.
