How Do You Apply?
You can apply for this service through your contracting company or engineering consultancy office at https://rakdigital.rak.ae or by visiting one of our Customer Happiness Centres.
Log in using your UAE Pass or proceed to the service counter.
Select "Project Approval (Companies Outside RAK)."
Submit the completed application form along with the required documents.
Wait for a notification from Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department confirming that the Qualification Specialist has approved the application and verified that all required documents and conditions have been met.
Wait for a notification from the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department approving the Engineers Committee’s request, after confirming compliance with the required municipal laws and regulations.
Pay the final fees through one of the following methods: the website, the mRAK Smart App, or payment machines at Customer Happiness Centres.
Wait for the final approval from the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department Manager.
Receive a notification from the Municipality confirming that the request has been completed. You will receive a Project Approval Certificate for executing the project from outside the Emirate.

What Documents Do You Need?
Trade License: A valid commercial license from the other Emirate.
Site plan: Documents related to the project including the land plan.
Official Letter: A letter from the government agency (the owner) assigning the project to the consulting office or contracting company.
Academic Certificates: For civil and architectural engineers (consulting offices), and civil engineers (contracting companies).
Emirates ID: A valid copy of the engineers’ Emirates ID.
Society of Engineers Card.
Work Permit issued by the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah.
Contact details (mobile number and email) of the consultancy or contracting company.
Employee list: Approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, issued no more than one month prior.
