How Do You Apply?

  1. You can apply for this service online through https://rakdigital.rak.ae or by visiting one of our Customer Happiness Centres.

  2. Log in using your UAE Pass or proceed to the service counter.

  3. Select “Technical Staff Approval.”

  4. Submit the completed application form along with the required documents.

  5. Wait for a notification from Ras Al Khaimah Municipality that the Qualification Specialist has approved the application and verified that all necessary documents and requirements have been met.

  6. Pay the fees through one of the following methods: the website, the mRAK Smart App, or payment machines at Customer Happiness Centres.

  7. Wait for a notification to schedule the engineer’s examination.

  8. Report at the Municipal Headquarters on the appointed date to take the test.

  9. Wait for the Staff Accreditation Committee’s review and the Engineers Committee’s decision.

  10. Wait for the final approval from the Department Manager.

  11. Download or obtain the Accreditation Certificate from the Customer Happiness Centre.

What Documents Do You Need?

  1. Land Document (Sketch) : Affection plan and title deed (if required).

  2. Building Permit : Previous Building Permit.

  3. Emirates ID : A valid copy of the owner’s ID.

  4. Trade License : Copy of Contractor’s Commercial License.

  5. Construction Waste Permit: From Public Works and Services Department.

  6. No Objection Certificate (NOC) : From Etihad Water and Electricity, Etisalat, and Wastewater Agency (for partial demolitions).

  7. Approval of other Government : Obtain clearance from Etihad Water and Electricity, and secure No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from Etisalat Corporation and the Wastewater Agency in the case of a total demolition.

  8. Commercial Invoice : For demolitions by the Public Works Department (skip Trade License and Waste Disposal Permit if invoice is attached).

  9. Assignment Letter : Authorization letter from the owner to the consultant.

  • A copy of the engineer’s academic certificate (bachelor’s degree), certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
