The extension is granted in three progressive stages:
First Period:
You can activate a complimentary 30-day extension from the registration expiry date through the website, by email, phone, or by visiting the Customer Happiness Centre.
Second Period:
If you need more time, apply for a second 30-day extension (up to 60 days from the initial expiry) via the website.
Third Period:
You can also request a final 30-day extension digitally, allowing a total of up to 90 days from the initial expiry

How Do You Apply?
You can apply for this service online through https://rakdigital.rak.ae or by visiting one of our Customer Happiness Centres.
Submit your application through the contracting company or engineering consultancy office, either by logging in with your UAE Pass or proceeding to the service counter.
Select “Temporary Extension of Registration.”
Ensure all required documents are uploaded or submitted along with the application.
Wait for a notification from the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality confirming that the qualification specialist has verified the completeness and compliance of your application.
Wait for the approval from the Engineers Committee once the application is reviewed for alignment with RAK’s regulations.
Wait for the Department Manager's final approval.
Pay the final fees through one of the following methods: the website, the mRAK Smart App, or payment machines at Customer Happiness Centres.
Once we process your application, we will send you a confirmation that it has been completed in the Municipality's system.
