As part of RAK Municipality's commitment to enhancing digital government services and strengthening integration with federal entities, a new integration has been implemented with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) to support the Housing Package Service.
If the purpose of obtaining a Comprehensive Investigation Request is to apply for approval under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, there is no need to submit the request through RAK Municipality. Customers may apply directly through the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure's platform, where the required property information and building permit records will be retrieved electronically from RAK Municipality's systems through the government integration.
Through this integration, the Ministry can securely retrieve the applicant's property information and building permit records directly from RAK Municipality's systems, eliminating the need for customers to obtain and submit these documents manually. This supports the Government's “One-Time Information Request” principle while improving the speed and efficiency of processing housing assistance applications.
The integration automatically initiates the following RAK Municipality services:
Comprehensive Investigation Request – Service fee: AED 200.
To Whom It May Concern Certificate Request – Service fee: AED 50.
The Housing Package is a service provided by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure to support UAE citizens applying for housing assistance. By enabling direct access to the required municipal data, the integration simplifies the application journey, reduces administrative effort, and enhances the overall customer experience.
