This e-service, offered by the Public Health Department at Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, allows food suppliers to obtain the required No Objection Certificate (NOC)/approval to supply food to educational institutions. It is part of a suite of electronic services designed to save customers' time and effort by enabling them to submit requests anytime and from anywhere. Through the service, applicants can submit their request, track its status, make necessary modifications, resubmit after editing, and ultimately obtain the required certificate entirely electronically.

How Long Will It Take?
Expected handling time: 1-3 working days (if an inspection is required before issuing the NOC, additional time is needed for the separate inspection process).
What Will You Get?
An approved No Objection Certificate (NOC) confirming approval of the establishment as a food supplier for educational institutions.
How Do You Apply?
1. Visit the RAK Digital Portal and select preferred language.
2. Log in using UAE PASS credentials.
3. Select the 'Corporate' role and choose the establishment name.
4. Go to Government Entities > RAK Municipality > Public Health Department, select 'Approval of a Food Supplier for Educational Institutions', and click 'Start'.
5. Enter the NOC details (contracting educational institution, type of contract, food type) and any comments.
6. Upload the required supporting documents.
7. Submit the request and pay the service fee online (via RAK.ae/quick payment, mRak, kiosk, or walk-in).
8. Receive a confirmation with a Request ID, track the status via notifications (SMS/email), pay a separate inspection fee if requested, and download the certificate from the portal once approved.

Service fee: AED 200 AED.
An additional inspection fee of AED 100.00 applies separately, only if inspection is required before the NOC is issued.

Terms:
The applicant must have a registered account and select the Corporate role for the relevant establishment
The educational institution's name, type of contract (Government or Private), and food type(s) supplied (Raw, Hot Ready to Eat, Cold Ready to Eat, Ready to Cook, Beverages, or Other with specification) must be provided
Each uploaded document must not exceed 3 MB
Once submitted, the application cannot be canceled
Once the final fees are confirmed and paid, the request cannot be undone
Contact details (email and mobile number) must be kept up to date to receive notifications promptly.
Limitations:
This service is restricted to registered corporate establishments individual applicants cannot use it.
The issued NOC carries a defined issue date and expiry date, linked to the establishment's trade license validity, and must be renewed before this expiry date to remain valid.
A site inspection may be required before the request is completed, adding an inspection fee and additional processing time. Attachments are limited to 3MB per file in JPG, PNG, or PDF format only.
