This service, offered by the Public Health and Safety Department at Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, enables registered establishments to apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) authorizing the disposal of public health waste. Applicants submit details of the products to be discarded, including type and weight, along with supporting documents through the RAK Digital portal. The request is reviewed by the concerned section (Food Control, Veterinary Control and Services, or Health and Environmental Control), and an inspection may be scheduled prior to issuing the certificate. Once approved, the NOC is issued electronically and made available for download through the portal.

What Will You Get?
1 to 3 working days from submission and payment. If the reviewing officer requires a field inspection, the case is forwarded to the inspection unit and the timeline is extended until the inspection report is completed.
How Do You Apply?
Log in to the RAK Digital portal using UAE PASS
Select the Corporate role and choose the establishment name.
Go to Government Entities > RAK Municipality > Public Health Department.
Select 'Issuance of NOC for Public Health Establishments' and click Start.
Review the applicant and establishment details, then select the concerned section (Food Control / Veterinary Control and Services / Health and Environmental Control) and add comments if needed.
Upload the required documents (Letter on company letterhead and Trade License).
Click Submit, review the Payment Preview screen, and pay the fee through the chosen payment method.
Receive the confirmation screen showing the Request ID and expected handling time, and track the request under Service Requests until completion.

An additional inspection fee of AED 100 if required.

What Terms and Limitations Apply?
Terms:
The service is available exclusively for establishments registered as business partners on the RAK Digital Portal
Applicants must sign in through UAE PASS with an active, linked account and select the Corporate role for the relevant establishment
The concerned section must be selected before submission
Once a request is submitted and paid, it cannot be cancelled
Only one draft per establishment can be carried forward, as multiple drafts cannot be submitted simultaneously.
Limitations:
Submitted requests cannot be cancelled or undone after payment.
If the reviewing officer requests modifications or additional documents, the request is returned to the applicant as 'Waiting for Your Action' and must be updated and resubmitted to avoid delays.
If an inspection is required, it is treated as a separate step with its own additional fee of AED 100, and the request remains pending until the inspection is completed and the inspector's report is submitted.
Requests may also be rejected, in which case the applicant is notified by SMS and email with the reason.
