How Do You Apply?

  1. You can apply for this service online through https://rakdigital.rak.ae by using your UAE Pass and select “Outside Planting Permit” to begin your application.

  2. Fill in the application form and upload the required documents.

  3. Pay the initial fee and deposit.

  4. Schedule the site inspection and pay the site visit fee.

  5. An engineer will review the documents and approve the request if it meets planting regulations.

  6. Pay the final fee through one of the following methods: the website, the mRAK Smart App, or payment machines at Customer Happiness Centres.

  7. Once approved, the outside planting permit will be issued electronically.

What Documents Do You Need?

  1. Land Document (Sketch) : Affection plan and title deed (if any).

  2. Building Permit : Previous building permits.

  3. Emirates ID : A valid copy of the owner's ID.

  4. NOC for Site Service Clearance Certificate : From Etihad Water and Electricity, Etisalat Corporation, Wastewater Agency and Ras Al Khaimah Gas Company.

  5. Trade License : Valid license of contractor or landscaping company.

  6. Assignment Letter : Authorization letter from owner for the consultant (if submitted through one).


What Terms and Limitations Apply?

Terms :

  • Vacant land is not eligible for an Outside Planting Permit.

  • Planting is not allowed in a sikka (alleyway).

Limitations

  • You can plant along the length of the plot, with a width of up to 3 meters between the plot limit and the road.

  • Permit validity is 3 months from the issuance date.
