Requirements of Consulting Offices
1. General Requirements:
- The director of the consulting office must be a citizen with a university qualification in an engineering discipline (civil or architectural).
- If there are partners, one of them must be a citizen with a university qualification, and the other with an engineering qualification.
2. G+1 Category:
- Office space: 50 to 60 m².
- Technical Staff:
• 1 Architect (G+1 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
• 1 Structural Engineer (G+1 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
• 1 supervising civil engineer or architect (G+1 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
• 1 Electrical Engineer as per the requirements of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority.
3. G+4 Category:
- Office Space: 80 to 100 m².
- Technical Staff:
• 1 Architect (G+8 Category, minimum 5 years of experience).
• 1 Structural Engineer (G+8 classification, minimum 5 years of experience).
• 1 supervising civil engineer or architect (G+8 classification, minimum 5 years of experience).
• 1 Civil or Architectural Engineer (G+4 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
• 1 Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineer (G+1 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
• 1 Electrical Engineer as per the requirements of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority.
4. Unlimited Classification:
- Office area: not less than 120 m².
- Technical Staff:
• 3 engineers (architect, construction, supervisor) with an Unlimited Category and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• 1 engineer (civil or architect supervising) with a G+8 Category and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• 1 engineer (civil, construction, or architectural) with a G+4 Category and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• 1 engineer (civil, structural or architectural) with a G+1 Category and a minimum of two years of experience.
• 1 Electrical Engineer as per the requirements of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority.
- Office Manager:
• For a national: a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• For expatriates: at least 15 years of experience.
Requirements of Construction Contracting Companies
1. G+1 Catagory :
- Office space: 15 to 20 m².
- Technical Staff:
• 1 supervising civil engineer or architect (G+1 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
• Contract as a part-time accountant or accountant.
• Number of workers: 15 workers (including technical staff).
2. G+4 Category:
- Office area: 40 to 60 m².
- Technical Staff:
• 1 Engineer (G+4 classification, minimum 3 years of experience).
• 1 Engineer (G+1 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
•Accountant.
• Number of workers: 40 to 50 workers (including technical staff).
3. G+8 Category :
- Office space: 60 to 80 m².
- Technical Staff:
• 1 Engineer (G+8 classification, minimum 5 years of experience).
• 1 Engineer (G+4 classification, minimum 3 years of experience).
• 1 Engineer (G+1 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
•Accountant.
• Personnel Officer (HR).
• Number of workers: 60 to 70 workers (including technical staff).
4. Unlimited Classification:
- Office Space: 80 to 100 m².
- Technical Staff:
• 2 engineers (Unlimited classification, minimum 7 years of experience).
• 1 Engineer (G+4 classification, minimum 3 years of experience).
• 1 Engineer (G+1 classification, minimum of two years of experience).
• 3 Accountants.
• Personnel Officer (HR).
•Surveyor.
• Number of workers: 100 workers (including technical staff).
